I'm a Spanish/English literary translator specializing in fiction, gender, art, and immigration. My work has been published by the New Press, the Feminist Press, Columbia University Press, AmazonCrossing, Editorial RM, and several smaller presses. I have an M.A. in Hispanic Language and Literature and a B.A. in English Literature, both summa cum laude from Boston University. You can see my full CV here.
Between book projects, I sometimes take on commercial translation jobs. I work with a team of professional translators (native English and Spanish speakers) to translate into and out of Spanish for museums, law firms, individuals applying for citizenship, and global and local businesses. I'm also actively involved in language justice activism and recently launched the FTrMP Project, an effort to make Spanish translations of vital migration paperwork available for free online.
