I'm a Spanish/English literary translator specializing in fiction, gender, art and immigration. My work has been published by the New Press, the Feminist Press, Columbia University Press, Amazon Crossing and Editorial RM, and in 2020 I received a PEN/Heim Grant and an English PEN Award for my translation of Lectura fácil by Cristina Morales (forthcoming from Jonathan Cape/Vintage as Easy Reading in January 2022). I have an M.A. in Hispanic Language and Literature and a B.A. in English Literature, both from Boston University. You can see my full CV here.
I sometimes take on commercial translation jobs between literary projects, mostly for museums and academic institutions. I also head the FTrMP Project, an effort to make Spanish translations of vital migration paperwork available for free online.
